DOWNTOWN DIGITAL SCAVENGER HUNT

Join in with your friends and family for a fun, leisurely way to explore and experience retailers and restaurants, with rewards to redeem as you go along. Play to the end, and win a $25 Detroit Card to spend at more than 100 downtown businesses. A new hunt starts every Monday afternoon at Parker’s Alley, so take part each week!

Here’s the how-to:  

  1. Download the Plain Sight app, and head to Parker’s Alley downtown Detroit. If you need directions, you can find them here.

  2. Once you're there, find the starting point and scan the first QR code. (hint: signs are at each of the 3 entrances to the alley)

  3. On the Parker’s Alley page, tap the Check in to Space button, then go to the Threads tab for your first clue!

  4. Solve the clue to identify the next sight and remember the password! (hint: if you’re stumped, tap the Spaces icon and scroll through the listings for all participating businesses)

  5. Make your way over, locate the "Sights & Delights" QR code and scan. If needed, directions can be found on each location’s Space page.

  6. When prompted, type the password exactly to unlock a potential reward and the clue to the next sight.

  7. Repeat steps 5-6 for each of the remaining sights.

  8. At the last sight, go to the location’s Spaces page on Plain Sight and tap the Check in to Space button to complete your journey! Eligible users will be emailed the following Monday with their final prize.
