That sounds a little weird, right? But trust us on this one. No names, no profile pictures is core to our mission and has been one of our standing philosophies since day one.
We started Plain Sight to help others make new, meaningful connections and to open up a seat at the table of opportunity for anyone who wants it. Making a connection shouldn’t be left up to chance or introductions based on who you are or what you look like. That is why there are no profile pictures or names on Plain Sight. It is networking reimagined, without bias.
Instead, you’ll find profiles of people in your city with a snapshot of their skills, interests, and who they’re looking to connect with. Our hope is to curate great connections between go-getters based on the things that matter most.
But we still want to give our users a chance to stand out, which is why we show initials, and now we are introducing a preselected list of 24 avatars that our users can use to amp up their profiles! allow our users to select from a handful of avatars. We hope that allowing you to select your preferred avatar will still give you a chance to stand out, and personalize your profile a bit! Can't wait to see all of your "faces" in the app.
