GitHub Copilot Dev Days Sponsorship Payment Details

GitHub is excited to partner with Plain Sight to support leaders and experts who want to share their deep knowledge of GitHub Copilot and various products via community events.

Reporting and Reimbursement Process

GitHub Copilot Dev Days is a global series of hands-on, in-person, community-led events designed to help developers explore AI-assisted coding with GitHub Copilot. Each event will feature live demos, practical sessions, and interactive workshops with high-quality training content.

We will provide events with support, including content, swag, venue, and F&B when possible. All sponsorship recipients are required to send an invoice that includes their preferred way to be paid and an itemized receipt within 30 days post-event.

Sponsorship Reimbursement Criteria

Leaders hosting meetups and gatherings for Dev Days must be approved by the GitHub Copilot Dev Days team to receive reimbursement. Organizers may be approved for sponsorship up to $300, with the exact sponsorship amount being confirmed and approved prior to the event. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis

Post-event, approved event hosts will be expected to submit the a recap report within 2 weeks after the event that details, attendance numbers, attendee feedback, overall impact, and photos.

Sponsorship payments will be reimbursed within 30 days of the itemized receipts and reports being verified.
